A refreshed edition of a best-selling, much-loved book that introduces nocturnal wildlife indigenous to Aotearoa. Our forests are a sight to be seen, by daytime’s warm clear light. But when the sun sets, and the daylight dims, and colours are no longer bright … Julia Crouth has cleverly constructed a rhyming description of an animal … then the page is turned to reveal its identity. Animals featured include the kiwi, morepork, tuatara, kauri snail and tiny Archey’s frog.
