Birdsong / He Korihi is a charming trilingual, tricultural 1 to 10 counting book for 0-10-year-olds. It is beautifully illustrated with a mix of familiar native and introduced birds – just as Aotearoa has a mix of indigenous and immigrant peoples. The rhyming couplets introduce a range of interesting words and bird behaviours for readers and teachers.
