A young woman wakes up in a hospital with no memory of who she is – only to learn that she’s been in a coma for years…abandoned and alone. She rebuilds her life as a wandering writer under the name Adelaide. Each dawn brings crippling melancholy and restlessness – a curse she can’t explain. Her only clues to her past? A jade necklace and a cryptic book: The Chronicles of An and Ai.

But Adelaide isn’t as alone as she thinks.

Her golden-hearted twin brother, An, has spent twelve years mourning her, clinging to hope. Dr Lyons, their sharp-witted mentor, holds knowledge about the curse that fractures Adelaide’s mind. And Eyi, the sorceress who stole Adelaide’s memories, has returned with dangerous vengeance – but this time, she won’t stop until Adelaide’s entire family is dead.

The long-awaited sequel to The Chronicles of An and Ai.
