It was early November, and up in the skyfireworks banged, whizzed and popped.

Dot wanted to cry.

Dot, like so many cats, is terrified of fireworks.

But when she flees her house to escape the big bangs, she finds herself lost and alone. How ever will she find her way home? With engaging rhyming verse and adorable illustrations, this book teaches children the value of communication and honesty – that it’s ok to be scared, worried or confused, and to ask for help from others.
